Dave Egerton Big Band Concert back for a 7th Year!

Thanks for the Memory is back again for a 7th year at Cranage Hall on Sunday May 17th 2020, with our concert running from 2pm to 5pm.

The concert is again hosted by the excellent Dave Egerton Band. With music from the early 1920’s to the Swing era; from Glenn Miller to the Beatles; Fred Astaire to Vera Lynn to Van Morrison; Frank Sinatra to The Temptations to the Beach Boys; from the Supremes to Amy Winehouse to Caro Emerald ….. and much, much more! Come along and sit back while they take you down memory lane.

We are also joined once more by the Ageless Ukes. Enjoy singing and dancing along with them to some timeless classics.

This year we have a guest appearance from comedian, Don Reid. Don has worked with many top stars including Russ Conway, Barbara Windsor, Ken Dodd, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Four Tops, Jack Jones and many more. He also headlined in Ken Dodd’s “Festival of Comedy” and music hall, both as principal comic and chairman. His TV credits include “The Comedians”, “New Faces”, “Up for the Cup”, “Boser”, “Late Night Live” and “Jamieson”. Don is a true traditional British comedian.

We are once again supporting the Alzheimer’s Society and Mid Cheshire Hospital Charity Dementia Appeal. Last year we raised over £1200 and hope to do the same or more again this year.
